The Tornado Deflector is your primary defense against destructive wind funnels. Craft and place this block near your base to create a protective barrier that redirects tornadoes away from your buildings.

During active storms, the deflector pushes incoming wind funnels to the side rather than letting them carve through your structures. This is especially useful for protecting wooden buildings, which are more vulnerable to wind damage.

Note that the deflector works best when positioned strategically around your perimeter. Tornadoes can still damage exposed areas, dig under roofs to reach hidden players, and push open doors during severe storms, so combine the deflector with solid construction for maximum protection.
