How to Move Villagers to a New Location
Prepare Your Route
Before moving villagers, gather emerald blocks or emeralds. Emerald blocks are more visible and easier to track over long distances. Plan a safe path from the villagers' current location to your destination, avoiding hostile mobs and hazards.
Lead the Villagers
Hold an emerald block or emerald in your hand near the villagers you want to move. They will begin following you. Walk slowly and deliberately toward your destination—villagers will pursue you as long as you're holding the emerald item.
If you need to move multiple villagers, lead them together by staying within their line of sight. They won't get lost as long as you keep the emerald visible.
Create a Trail (Optional)
For longer journeys or if you need to leave villagers temporarily, place emerald blocks or emeralds on the ground in a line leading to your destination. Villagers will follow the trail and pick up the items as they go. This method works well when you need to manage multiple villagers or navigate complex terrain.
Secure Your Destination
Once villagers arrive, remove any remaining emerald items from the ground to prevent them from wandering further. Keep them contained with fences or walls if needed.
