Trade Ender Pearls with Clerics for Emeralds

Finding a Cleric Villager

Locate or breed a Cleric villager in your world. Clerics wear purple robes and typically spawn in churches within villages. If no Cleric exists nearby, you can breed two unemployed villagers near a brewing stand to create one.

Initiating the Trade

Approach the Cleric and right-click to open their trade menu. Look for the trade option that accepts ender pearls. The Cleric will exchange 2 ender pearls for 1 emerald.

Maximizing Efficiency

Collect ender pearls by defeating Endermen in the Overworld or the End dimension. Stack your pearls in your inventory before trading to complete multiple transactions quickly. Each trade consumes 2 pearls and grants 1 emerald, making this a reliable emerald source once you have a steady pearl supply.

Using Your Emeralds

Emeralds can be used to purchase other items from villagers or to complete additional Cleric trades if they offer other options. This creates a valuable trading chain within your village economy.
