Setting Up an Efficient Villager Trading Station for Bulk Trades

The mod makes each trade fast, so the bottleneck becomes logistics: getting items to the villager and getting emeralds away. Build a station that removes that bottleneck.

Layout

Place the villager in a small enclosed cell with its workstation so it keeps its profession and restocks. Put a double chest directly adjacent to where you stand, so you can refill your inventory without walking. Keep a second chest or a hopper line for the emeralds you receive. If you use hoppers, point them into a storage area so your inventory does not fill mid-trade.

Workflow

1. Stand so you can reach both the villager and the supply chest.

2. Fill your inventory from the chest with the item the villager buys.

3. Open the trade screen and use the mod's bulk trade control until your inventory is empty of that item.

4. Dump the emeralds into the output chest.

5. Repeat.

Scaling up

For very large farms, run multiple villagers with the same trade in separate cells and rotate between them as each one locks out. This keeps a continuous supply of open trades. Keep the cells close together so you can move between them quickly, and label the chests so you always know which crop feeds which villager.
