Troubleshoot Villager Behavior in the Hall
Prevent Villagers from Wandering
Villagers may wander away from their stalls if not contained. Use fences, walls, or leads to keep them in place. The stalls are compact, so a simple fence enclosure around each stall works well without blocking access to trades.
Stop Unwanted Breeding
If villagers breed unexpectedly, they'll overcrowd your stalls and disrupt organization. Ensure stalls are separated enough to prevent villagers from detecting each other, or use fences to create individual spaces. Remove excess villagers promptly.
Manage Restocking Issues
If a villager's trades become locked (they won't trade), they need time to restock. Ensure they have access to their workstation block. Librarians need lecterns, farmers need composters, and so on. Place these blocks nearby or in adjacent areas.
Improve Pathfinding
The green carpeted paths are wide and clear, but villagers sometimes get stuck on stairs or corners. Ensure pathways are at least two blocks wide and free of obstacles. The central tower shouldn't block movement between sections.
Check Lighting for Spawns
Dark corners invite hostile mobs. Use the existing lanterns and add more light sources to keep the entire hall bright, especially around storage and restocking areas.
