Set Up Multi-Level Trading for a Villager

Understanding Villager Levels

Villagers progress through five levels: Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, and Master. Each level can have completely different trades. The mod lets you control exactly what each level buys and sells.

Creating Your Trade List

Create a trade configuration file for your profession. For each level, define:

• What the villager buys: The item and quantity
• What the villager sells: The item, quantity, and price in emeralds
• Special items: Include enchanted gear, custom potions, or renamed items

Applying Trades to Your Profession

Link your trade file to your profession file. The mod will automatically unlock trades as villagers level up through experience. Villagers gain experience by completing trades with players.

You can create progression that makes sense—a novice baker might only sell bread, while a master baker sells enchanted golden apples or rare ingredients. Test each level by trading with the villager and watching their inventory update.
