Get Your First Village Map

Receiving the Map Automatically

When you create a new world and join it for the first time, the mod will automatically place a village map in your inventory. You don't need to craft anything or run commands—it appears as soon as you spawn.

What to Do With Your Map

Once you have the map:

1. Open your inventory and locate the map item

2. Hold it in your hand or place it in an item frame to view it

3. The map will show the terrain around you and mark the location of the nearest village with a marker

4. Use this information to plan your route or set navigation goals

If your inventory is full when you join, the map may drop on the ground near your spawn point. Check the area around you if you don't see it in your inventory immediately.

Important Notes

The map only appears on your first login to a world. If you delete it, you won't receive another one automatically. Consider storing it safely or making a copy using a cartography table if you want a backup.
