Understand Nether-Specific Threats

The Nether now hosts Blaze Tower, Blaze Knight, and Dark Wither Skeleton alongside standard dangers:

• Dark Wither Skeletons gather in fortress corridors and deal wither damage. Bring milk buckets or healing potions to counter the effect.
• Blaze Tower and Blaze Knight are fire-based threats. Fire Resistance potions are essential—drink one before entering any fortress or waste biome.
• These mobs spawn naturally in their respective biomes, so prepare before exploring.

Navigate Safely

• Stay on established paths through fortresses to minimize surprise encounters in tight spaces.
• Bring blocks to create escape routes or shield yourself from projectile attacks.
• Use ranged weapons to engage threats from distance, especially against flying or elevated enemies.
• Avoid lingering in open lava lakes where Blaze variants can surround you.

If you're unprepared, retreat to the Overworld and gather better equipment. The Nether's custom mobs are significantly tougher than vanilla variants.
