Recover from Combat and Resume Healing
Combat Interrupts Regeneration
When you take damage in combat, natural healing from your active food slots stops for a few seconds. This prevents you from healing faster than enemies can damage you, making combat more challenging and strategic.
What Happens
Your active food timers continue counting down, but regeneration effects pause. Once you've avoided damage for a few seconds, healing resumes automatically. You don't need to do anything—just survive the cooldown period.
Playing Around It
During intense fights, focus on dodging and blocking rather than relying on passive regeneration. Use this downtime to reposition, heal with cake slices for instant recovery, or retreat to safety.
After combat ends, your regeneration kicks back in immediately. The longer you stay out of danger, the more your active meals heal you. This encourages tactical play: engage enemies, back away to heal, then re-engage. Plan your food slots before dangerous situations so you have strong regeneration ready once combat ends.
