Disable bobbing for a specific item

Using the hotkey

The fastest way to stop bobbing for your current item is to use the toggle hotkey.

1. Hold the item you want to disable bobbing for

2. Press Z (or your configured hotkey)

3. The bobbing will immediately stop for that item only

4. Press Z again to re-enable bobbing for it

Per-item memory

The mod remembers your bobbing preference for each item type. If you disable bobbing while holding a map, bobbing will stay disabled every time you pick up a map—even after closing and reopening your world. Other items are unaffected and will continue bobbing normally.

Finding your hotkey

If Z doesn't work, check your settings:

1. Open your in-game settings screen (see "Access the settings menu" guide)

2. Look for the hotkey binding option

3. Note the key listed there and use that instead
