Improve Your Speed Bridging for Rush Plays
Understanding Speed Bridging
Speed bridging places blocks in a flat line directly beneath your feet as you sprint forward. It's faster than staircase bridging but requires precise timing and practice to avoid falling.
Training Steps
1. Select a speed bridging practice lane on the map
2. Stand on the starting pad with your block stack ready
3. Sprint forward and immediately start placing blocks at your feet
4. Aim your crosshair straight down at the edge of the platform you're leaving
5. Click rapidly to place blocks in quick succession
6. Time your jumps to land on each new block before it fully generates
7. Keep moving forward without stopping—hesitation breaks your rhythm
8. If you fall, you'll respawn at the start to try again
Building Speed Safely
- Start slowly and gradually increase your placement rate
- Focus on consistent block placement before worrying about speed
- Practice short distances first, then extend to longer gaps
- Once comfortable, apply this technique to rush strategies in real matches
- Speed bridging is essential for aggressive Bedwars plays
