Optimize Water Appearance and Reflections
Locate Water Settings
Open shader options and find the water or surface reflection section. Vibroscat provides dedicated controls for how water looks and behaves visually.
Adjust Transparency and Clarity
Increase water transparency to see deeper into oceans and rivers; decrease it for murkier, more atmospheric water. Look for separate controls for caustics or wave detail if available—these add underwater light patterns and surface movement.
Control Reflection Strength
Find the reflection intensity slider. Higher values make water mirror the sky and landscape more realistically; lower values reduce reflections for a flatter appearance. This is especially noticeable near sunset or sunrise.
Performance Consideration
Water reflections impact frame rate. If you notice stuttering, reduce reflection quality or intensity. Test near large bodies of water—oceans, lakes, and rivers—to see the full effect. Adjust until you find the balance between visual quality and smooth gameplay.
