Building Your Narrative

The tropical resort setting naturally supports vacation, mystery, or survival-themed adventures. Decide on a premise with your group: Are you resort staff managing guests? Survivors on an island? Treasure hunters exploring ruins? The colorful buildings and beach environment support lighthearted or immersive storytelling equally well.

Designing Challenges

1. Assign player roles (guide, explorer, chef, security, etc.)

2. Create objectives tied to specific locations (find items in certain rooms, reach the beach, solve a puzzle)

3. Use the map's vertical layout to create progression—start at the main building, advance to outdoor areas

4. Establish safe zones and danger zones based on your story

5. Plan encounters or events at key locations

Enhancing Immersion

Use the resort's existing features to reinforce your scenario. The pool area becomes a gathering hub; rooms become hideouts or treasure vaults; the beach becomes an exploration frontier. Assign time limits to create urgency. Rotate which players control the "environment" (deciding what happens next) to keep everyone engaged. The bright, open design means players can easily see each other and coordinate, making communication and roleplay flow naturally.
