Enhance the Pearl-Blue Atmosphere
Customizing Sky and Lighting
The signature pearl-blue atmosphere is a core feature of Veyluma NovaMist Shaders. You can adjust how pronounced this effect appears across different times of day and weather conditions.
Atmosphere Adjustment Steps
Open Iris shader options and look for atmosphere or sky-related settings:
- Sky Color Intensity: Increase saturation to make the pearl-blue tone more vivid, or decrease it for a more neutral sky.
- Fog Color: Adjust fog tinting to strengthen or soften the blue atmospheric haze on distant horizons.
- Time of Day Adjustments: Some shader packs allow per-time-of-day tweaks. Experiment with dawn, noon, and dusk settings separately.
- Weather Effects: Rain and clear weather may have separate atmospheric settings.
Viewing Your Changes
Visit open areas—plains, mountains, or ocean—where the sky is most visible. The matte terrain will complement whatever atmospheric tone you choose. If the blue feels too cold, slightly warm it; if it feels washed out, increase intensity. Changes apply immediately without restarting.
