Adjust Lighting Intensity for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually accessed through Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options). Veyluma Balanced provides sliders to control how bright and warm the sunlight appears.

Customize Brightness Levels

Look for options labeled Sunlight Intensity or Overall Brightness. Increase these values if you find caves too dark or want more dramatic daytime lighting. Decrease them if the sun feels too harsh or washes out your builds.

Fine-Tune Color Temperature

Adjust the Warmth or Color Temperature slider to shift between cooler (bluer) and warmer (yellower) tones. Higher warmth values create that cozy sunset feel throughout the day, while lower values give a more neutral, clinical appearance.

Test Your Changes

Move to different times of day and locations—caves, open fields, and water—to see how your adjustments look. Changes apply in real-time, so you can experiment without restarting. Save your preferred settings once you find the balance that suits your building or exploration style.
