Adjust Cloud Density and Appearance
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader settings key (usually accessed through your graphics settings or a mod menu). Navigate to the Cloud or Sky section.
Customize Cloud Behavior
Look for sliders controlling:
- Cloud Coverage: Adjust how much of the sky clouds occupy. Lower values create sparse, wispy clouds; higher values fill the sky with denser formations.
- Cloud Height: Change the altitude at which clouds render, affecting their visual relationship to terrain.
- Cloud Speed: Control how quickly clouds drift across the sky. Slower speeds create a more serene atmosphere, while faster movement adds dynamism.
- Cloud Thickness: Modify how opaque and volumetric the clouds appear, affecting light penetration.
Apply and Test
Save your changes and observe the sky from different locations and times of day. Volumetric clouds interact differently with sunlight and moonlight, so test during both cycles. Adjust values incrementally—small changes often have noticeable visual impact. Return to settings anytime to fine-tune until the cloud appearance matches your preferred aesthetic.
