See What Items Are in Your Scroll Column

Activate the Display

Simply hold down your modifier key (default: Left Alt). A small display window appears on your screen showing the contents of the column above your currently selected hotbar slot.

Read the Display

The display shows:

• Item pictures of each block or tool in the column
• Stack numbers indicating how many of each item you have
• Direction arrows showing which way items will move when you scroll

The arrows help you visualize whether scrolling up or down will bring the item you want into your hand.

Switch Columns

Click a different hotbar slot, then hold the modifier key again. The display updates instantly to show the items in that new column.

Release to Hide

When you release the modifier key, the display disappears. This keeps your screen clean during normal gameplay. Hold the key again anytime you need to check what's available.
