Organize Your Inventory for Combat

Plan Your Combat Column

Decide which hotbar slot will hold your combat items. Stack your weapons, healing items, or utility blocks vertically in your inventory directly above that slot.

Example Setup

Place your sword at the top of the column, healing potions in the middle, and a shield or utility block at the bottom. When you hold the modifier key and scroll, you cycle through these items without breaking combat flow.

Use During Battle

1. Select your combat hotbar slot

2. Hold your modifier key

3. Scroll to grab your sword, potion, or shield as needed

4. Release the key and continue fighting

Since your hotbar slot stays selected, you can swap items mid-combat while keeping your position locked. This is especially useful in PvP or against tough mobs where you need quick access to different tools.

Multiple Columns

You can set up different hotbar slots for different combat scenarios—one for melee, one for ranged, one for support items.
