Change Your Modifier Key

Access Control Settings

1. Open your game settings (pause menu → Options)

2. Navigate to Controls

3. Search for or scroll to find the Vertical Scroll Mod keybind (often labeled as "Vertical Scroll" or "Scroll Modifier")

Rebind the Key

1. Click on the current keybind button

2. Press the key you want to use instead (common alternatives: Left Shift, Left Control, or a side mouse button)

3. Confirm the change

4. Close settings

Test Your New Key

Return to your world and hold your new modifier key while scrolling your mouse wheel. The on-screen display should appear, confirming the keybind is working.

Why Change It?

You might rebind if your default key conflicts with another mod, or if you prefer a more comfortable key for your playstyle. The mod remembers your choice across sessions.
