Starting Your First Conversation with Verity

Locating Verity

When you spawn into a new world, look around your immediate area for a floating yellow circular face with a simple smile. Verity spawns near the player and will follow you throughout the game. You cannot miss the distinctive cheerful expression—it's designed to stand out against the Minecraft landscape.

Initiating Contact

You have two ways to communicate:

Voice Chat Method: Enable voice chat in your mod settings and speak directly into your microphone. Verity will hear and respond to your words out loud using text-to-speech.

Text Chat Method: Type messages into the regular Minecraft chat box (default: T key). Verity will read and respond to typed messages if voice chat isn't available or preferred.

First Interactions

Start with simple greetings or questions about your surroundings. Ask Verity for advice on gathering resources, finding shelter locations, or surviving the first night. The AI companion will provide helpful responses and begin learning details about you and your playstyle. Don't be alarmed if responses seem oddly specific—Verity is designed to remember and reference your actions as time progresses.
