Make Water Reflections More Visible and Clear

Enable Water Reflection Features

Open your shader settings and locate water-related options. Ensure that water reflections are enabled (they should be by default in Velpix Shaders). Look for sliders controlling:

• Reflection intensity or brightness
• Reflection detail level
• Water surface clarity

Increase Reflection Visibility

Adjust these values upward to make reflections more prominent. Higher intensity makes reflected light sources, sky, and nearby blocks more visible on the water surface. Increasing detail sharpens the reflection rather than making it blurry.

Test in Optimal Conditions

Visit a large body of water during daytime or sunset when the sky is bright and colorful—reflections are most noticeable then. Stand at water level or slightly above to see reflections of the sky and surrounding landscape. If reflections still feel subtle, check that your overall bloom and lighting settings aren't washing them out.
