Verify the Mod Is Working Correctly

Check That Velocity Blur Is Active

If you're not seeing motion blur or the speed counter, verify the mod is functioning properly.

Troubleshooting Steps

1. Look for the speed counter in the top right corner of your screen—if it's visible, the mod is loaded

2. Move your character by sprinting or flying to trigger the blur effect

3. Watch the screen edges as you move—they should blur when you're in motion

4. Check your speed value—if it shows 0 blocks per second while standing still, that's normal

5. Verify mod settings are not disabled in your mod menu

If Nothing Appears

• Confirm the mod is installed in your mods folder
• Restart your game client completely
• Check that you're not in a server that blocks client-side visual mods (though Velocity Blur should work on most servers)
• Ensure your graphics settings aren't hiding the effect

Once you move at speed, you should see both the blur effect and the numerical counter. The blur is most noticeable when sprinting or flying fast.
