Troubleshoot When VeinMiner Isn't Working

Confirm the Mod is Enabled

Check that VeinMiner Companion is actually loaded. Look for the cursor indicator when you toggle the keybind. If nothing happens when you press the toggle key, the mod may not be installed correctly or the keybind may conflict with another mod.

Verify VeinMiner is Toggled On

Press your toggle keybind and confirm the indicator appears near your cursor. Without this visual feedback, VeinMiner is disabled. Toggle it on before attempting to mine.

Check Block and Tool Compatibility

Not all blocks or tools support vein mining on your server. Try mining a different block type, or switch to a different tool. If wireframe outlines never appear, ask your server administrator which blocks and tools are actually configured for vein mining.

Confirm Server Support

Some servers don't allow client-side mods or don't run the VeinMiner plugin. If you receive a message that the mod is unsupported, the server doesn't have VeinMiner enabled. Contact your server administrator to confirm the plugin is installed and active.
