Switch Between Different Vein Mining Patterns

Understand Pattern Options

Your server may provide multiple vein mining patterns—these control how the mod selects which connected blocks get mined together. Common patterns include mining only directly adjacent blocks, mining in a larger radius, or following specific shapes.

Use the Pattern Switching Keybind

Assign a keybind in the mod settings specifically for cycling through patterns. Press this key while holding a tool to switch to the next available pattern. The current pattern may be displayed in chat or on your screen, depending on server configuration.

Preview Before Mining

After switching patterns, look at a block you want to mine. The wireframe outline will update to show which blocks will be affected under the new pattern. This lets you choose the pattern that best suits your current mining task before you commit to breaking blocks.

Note: The server controls which patterns are available. Not all servers offer multiple options.
