Configure Which Blocks Can Be VeinMined

Access the Configuration File

VeinMine settings are stored in a configuration file, typically located in your .minecraft/config folder. Look for a file related to VeinMine (often named veinmine.toml or similar).

Whitelist vs. Blacklist

The mod uses a blacklist system by default—this means most blocks are vein-minable unless you explicitly prevent them. You can add specific block names to the blacklist to stop them from being vein-mined.

Adding Blocks to the Blacklist

1. Open the configuration file in a text editor

2. Locate the blacklist section

3. Add block names (use the format shown in existing entries)

4. Save the file

5. Restart your game or reload the mod

Adjusting Mining Range

You can also configure how far the mod searches for connected blocks. A larger range means more blocks are included in a single vein, while a smaller range limits it to closer neighbors.

Testing Changes

After editing, test by attempting to vein-mine a block you modified. If it doesn't work as expected, check your syntax and restart.
