How to Use Vein Mining

Breaking a Whole Vein at Once

Vein Mining lets you break an entire ore vein in one action. When you mine a single ore block that is part of a connected vein, the mod detects the other ore blocks touching it and breaks them too, so you don't have to dig each one out by hand.

To use it, mine an ore block the way you normally would. If the vein is connected and the mod is active, the rest of the vein comes out with it. The blocks you break still drop their normal items, and the vein is limited to blocks of the same ore that are touching each other, so separate veins are not affected.

If nothing extra breaks when you mine an ore, the mechanic is not currently active. Check the mod's configuration to confirm it is enabled and that the ore you are mining is included in its block list. You can also add blocks to that list so other ores or stone types are treated as veins.
