Using Vehicle Designs as Building Templates
Selecting a Design to Recreate
Choose a vehicle from the map that matches your skill level and project needs. Simpler designs (basic cars, small boats) are good starting points. More complex builds (detailed planes, trucks with cargo details) require more block variety and planning.
Measuring and Planning
Use the vehicle on the map as a reference. Walk around it and estimate its length, width, and height in blocks. Sketch a rough outline or take multiple screenshots to capture proportions. Note which blocks create the most important visual features—wheels, windows, and the main body shape.
Recreating in Your World
Build in a flat, open area. Start with the basic outline using a neutral block color, then add details layer by layer. Refer frequently to your screenshots. Don't worry about exact perfection—adapt the design to fit your world's aesthetic and available blocks.
Customizing Your Build
Change colors, add custom details, or combine elements from multiple vehicles. Use your recreation as a foundation for unique designs that fit your city or project theme.
