How to Get Ink Sacs and Dyes Without Squid

Crafting Ink Sacs

Squid farming is no longer necessary for ink production. The mod provides vegan recipes to craft both regular ink sacs and glow ink sacs.

1. Gather the required plant-based ingredients (typically flowers, plants, or other vegetation)

2. Arrange them in the crafting grid using the vegan ink sac recipe

3. Repeat for glow ink sacs using their specific recipe variant

Creating Black Dye

Ink sacs can be converted into black dye for wool dyeing and other coloring needs. This gives you a complete dye production chain without touching water mobs.
