Setting Up a Hide-and-Seek Game in the Urban Map
Establish Game Boundaries
Define a clear play area using the city's natural blocks—select a neighborhood or several city blocks as your arena. Mark boundaries with signs or barriers so all players understand the limits. Larger areas work better for more players, while smaller zones suit smaller groups.
Prepare Hiding Spots
Walk through the area and identify natural hiding places: rooftops, building interiors, alleys, and underground spaces like basements or parking areas. Ensure seekers can't access areas outside the play zone. Remove any obvious traps or hazards that could harm players.
Establish Rules and Start
Decide on a seeker count, hiding time limit, and winning conditions before starting. Use a central location like a plaza or main intersection as your meeting point. Assign one or more players as seekers and give hiders time to disperse before the search begins. The massive scale of the city provides plenty of space for engaging gameplay.
