Installing and Using Vast Empty Horizons
Installation
Place this data pack into your Big Globe world's datapacks folder. Reload or restart your world to apply the changes.
What It Does
Vast Empty Horizons removes the floating skylands that normally generate high above the terrain in Big Globe worlds. These massive sky islands typically cast shadows across the landscape and obstruct your view of the horizon.
With this data pack active, your skies remain clear and open. You'll see unobstructed horizons across all biomes, and natural sunlight reaches the ground without interference from floating landmasses.
Regular ground-level terrain generation remains unchanged—only the high-altitude floating islands are removed.
