Lock Valuable Items to Prevent Accidental Loss

Using the Protect Item Command

Protect your most valuable gear and items from being dropped or sold by mistake.

Steps:

1. Hold the item you want to protect in your hand

2. Open chat and type /protectitem to lock it

3. A confirmation message will appear indicating the item is now protected

4. To unlock an item, hold it and type /protectitem again

Alternative: Hotkey Protection

If you have hotkeys configured in the mod settings, you can bind a key to quickly lock/unlock items without typing commands. Check your keybinds in the Vantage Sky Logic configuration menu.

What Gets Protected

Once locked, the item cannot be:

• Dropped by pressing Q
• Sold through the auction house
• Moved out of your inventory accidentally during combat

This is especially useful for protecting high-value dungeon drops, rare crafting materials, or expensive equipment you don't want to lose during chaotic boss fights or server lag moments.
