Set Up a Party with Friends

Creating and Sharing a Party Code

Parties let you send pings only to your teammates instead of broadcasting to everyone on the server. To start:

1. Open your settings menu in-game

2. Look for the Party section

3. Generate a new party code — this is a unique identifier your friends can use to join

4. Share this code with your teammates through Discord, chat, or however you communicate

5. Each friend enters the code into their own Party settings to join

Verifying Your Party Connection

Once teammates have entered the code, you'll see them listed in the Party menu. Test the connection by placing a ping — only party members should see it appear on their screen. If a ping shows up for everyone on the server, double-check that all players have entered the correct code and that the party is active in their settings.

Party codes persist until you generate a new one, so you can reuse the same code across multiple play sessions with the same group.
