Prevent Item Tooltips from Appearing When Switching Hotbar Slots

Hide Held Item Popups

The mod includes an option to suppress the tooltip that normally appears when you pick up or switch to a different item in your hotbar. This keeps your screen cleaner during active gameplay.

1. Open the in-game settings menu

2. Find the option labeled for held item popups or item tooltips

3. Toggle this setting to off or hide

4. Save and close the menu

Verify the Change

Switch between different items in your hotbar. The popup that usually shows the item name and description should no longer appear. Your hotbar itself will still display normally—only the extra tooltip is hidden.

If you ever need to see item details again, return to settings and re-enable this option. This feature works independently of other fade settings, so you can customize it separately from your health bar or hunger meter behavior.
