Make the Hunger Meter Appear Only When You're Starving

Configure Hunger Percentage Threshold

Similar to the health bar, you can set the hunger meter to display only when your food level drops below a certain point. This reduces visual clutter while keeping you informed during critical moments.

1. Open the mod's in-game settings menu

2. Locate the hunger percentage trigger option

3. Set it to a low value (like 25% or 30%) so the meter only shows when you're nearly starving

4. Confirm and apply the settings

Test Your Survival Stats

Eat food until your hunger bar is full, then let it deplete naturally. The hunger meter should remain hidden while you're well-fed, then fade in as you approach your chosen threshold. This is especially useful during long exploration trips where you don't need constant hunger reminders.

You can adjust this value anytime—lower thresholds mean the meter appears only in genuine danger, while higher values show it more frequently.
