Vanilla Refresh Data Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the Vanilla Refresh settings menu?
Run the /trigger vrs command (or use the settings item if you've given yourself one) to open the in-game menu where every feature is listed with a toggle. From there you can enable or disable any feature without leaving the world.
How do I sit down anywhere in Minecraft with this data pack?
Face straight down, crouch, and you'll sit on the spot you're looking at. Stand up by pressing the sneak key again or moving.
How do I get the creative wands?
The wands are creative-mode tools, so you need to be in creative and grab them from the creative inventory or via the settings menu's item giver. Each wand handles a different job: teleporting, erasing mobs, and clearing vegetation.
How do I teleport with the wand?
Hold the teleport wand and right-click the block or location you want to travel to. It moves you there instantly, which is handy for building or exploring without walking.
How do I erase mobs with the mob erasure wand?
Hold the mob erasure wand and right-click a mob to remove it. This is useful for clearing out unwanted mobs without killing them one by one.
How do I clear vegetation with the vegetation clearing wand?
Hold the vegetation wand and right-click on plants, leaves, or grass to remove them in an area. It's a fast way to clear land for building.
How do I enter spectator mode with Vanilla Refresh?
Use the spectator action from the settings menu or the designated key/command to switch into spectator mode. Once in spectator, you can use the provided actions to teleport or inspect players and mobs.
Can I disable features I don't like?
Yes. Open the settings menu and toggle any feature off; you can re-enable it later the same way. Your choices are saved per world.
Does Vanilla Refresh work with existing worlds and other data packs?
It's designed to work with existing worlds without breaking them, and it generally plays nicely with other data packs. If two packs modify the same mechanic, you may see conflicts, so test in a copy of your world first.
Will Vanilla Refresh hurt my performance or cause lag?
The features are lightweight and only run when triggered, so performance impact is minimal on normal worlds. If you notice lag, disable features you're not using via the settings menu.
