Finding Hat Styles

Vanilla Plus includes numerous cosmetic hats and accessories inspired by various themes—Mario-style caps, Zelda-inspired headwear, winter hats, top hats, and more. These items are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay stats.

Crafting Hats

Most hats can be crafted using common materials like wool, leather, or dyed fabric. Check the crafting recipes for your desired hat style, as different themes use different base materials. Some rare hats may require special ingredients found through exploration.

Equipping Your Hat

Hats occupy the head slot, the same as vanilla helmets. You can wear a hat alongside armor, though a helmet will replace it visually. If you prefer cosmetics over protection, simply equip the hat instead of a helmet.

Customization

Many hats can be dyed to match your preferred color scheme. Combine your hat with dyed clothing and accessories to create a unique character appearance. Mix and match different hat styles to express your personal aesthetic throughout your world.
