Craft and Use Custom Armor Sets

Gathering Materials

Custom armor sets in Vanilla Plus are built from special materials like Lapis, Amethyst, Emerald, Redstone, Quartz, Resin, and Nether Star. Each material tier offers different durability and protective attributes. Start by collecting your chosen material—higher-tier materials like Nether Star provide superior defense and durability.

Crafting Your Armor

Arrange your material in the crafting grid following standard armor patterns: helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Each piece crafts individually using the same layout as vanilla armor. Once equipped, your custom armor provides protection scaled to its material tier.

Matching Tools

For optimal efficiency, craft tools from the same material as your armor. Tools inherit the durability and effectiveness attributes of their material, so Emerald tools work well with Emerald armor, and so on. This creates a cohesive equipment set with balanced stats throughout your toolkit.

Durability Management

Higher-tier materials last longer but may require more resources to obtain. Plan your material gathering based on how long you intend to use each armor set before upgrading.
