Placing Catenaries

Catenaries are placed using custom Firework Rocket items. These special rockets allow you to set anchor points off the block grid, giving you precise control over rope placement and positioning.

Each catenary item contains custom data that determines its properties—what kind of rope physics it will simulate. Map makers can fully customize this data to create different catenary types, while survival players can use preset configurations.

Once placed, your catenaries will respond realistically to gravity, creating dynamic structures that hang and sag naturally. This lets you build complex rope-based constructions that feel lifelike and immersive.
