Identifying Loot Containers

Structures contain chests and valuable resources. Look for:

• Chests placed in decorated chambers
• Amethyst clusters (mine with Silk Touch for intact clusters)
• Ore deposits (diamond, emerald, or rare blocks)
• Decorative items like lanterns or themed blocks

Efficient Harvesting

Bring appropriate tools for each resource type:

• Pickaxe for stone, ore, and amethyst
• Silk Touch pickaxe for amethyst clusters and decorative blocks
• Sword for quick harvesting of vines and cobwebs

Open chests carefully in sealed monster rooms—have an escape route ready in case mobs spawn.

Transporting Loot

Use shulker boxes or an ender chest to carry large quantities back to your base. If a structure is far from home, consider setting up a temporary storage area or crafting a nether portal for faster travel.

Respecting Structures

Some players prefer leaving structures intact for aesthetic reasons. Take only what you need, or mark structures on a map for later visits.
