Troubleshooting Flickering or Visual Glitches

Verify Shader Compatibility

Ensure USL is compatible with your Minecraft version and mod loader. Mismatches between shader version and game version commonly cause visual artifacts.

Reset to Default Settings

Revert all shader options to default by selecting the default preset. If flickering stops, a custom setting was causing the issue. Reapply changes one at a time to identify the culprit.

Check for Conflicting Mods

Disable other visual mods (like connected textures or custom lighting mods) temporarily. These can conflict with shader rendering and cause flickering or texture issues.

Update or Reinstall Shader

If problems persist, remove USL completely and reinstall it fresh. Corrupted shader files sometimes cause persistent glitches.

Adjust Compatibility Options

Look for compatibility toggles in shader settings—options like "Old GPU Support" or "Legacy Mode" may resolve rendering issues on older hardware.

Report Persistent Issues

If flickering continues after these steps, document which blocks or conditions trigger it and check community forums for similar reports.
