Fixing Low Frame Rate on Intel Integrated Graphics
Check Current Settings
Verify your shader options are set to the lowest available presets. USL includes low-end profiles specifically for integrated graphics—ensure you're using one.
Disable Advanced Lighting Effects
Turn off bloom, lens flare, and dynamic lighting if these options exist in your shader menu. These effects are particularly demanding on Intel UHD graphics.
Lower Render Distance
Reduce your Minecraft render distance in Video Settings (try 8-12 chunks). This is separate from shader settings but has a major impact on integrated GPU load.
Disable Water and Terrain Reflections
If available, turn off reflective water surfaces and parallax mapping. These require extra processing that integrated chips struggle with.
Update Graphics Drivers
Ensure your Intel graphics drivers are current. Outdated drivers often cause poor shader performance. Check your system settings or manufacturer website for updates.
Monitor Temperature
If frame rate drops over time, your GPU may be throttling due to heat. Ensure your laptop or PC has adequate ventilation.
