Customizing Colors and Tone Without Losing Performance
Open Color Correction Settings
Access shader options and locate color grading or tone mapping controls. USL typically provides adjustable saturation, brightness, and color temperature sliders.
Adjust Saturation
Increase saturation to make colors more vivid, or decrease it for a more muted, vanilla feel. This adjustment has minimal performance impact.
Modify Brightness and Contrast
Tweak overall brightness to suit your monitor and lighting conditions. Increase contrast to make details pop without adding computational overhead.
Change Color Temperature
Adjust the warm/cool tone of your world. Warmer settings create a sunset-like atmosphere, while cooler settings enhance blues and purples. This is a visual-only change.
Test in Different Lighting
Visit caves, forests, and open sky to see how your color adjustments look in various conditions. Shader colors often appear different depending on time of day and environment.
Save Your Preset
If your shader supports custom presets, save your preferred settings so you don't need to reconfigure them after updates or world changes.
