How to Use the Detector Alongside Other Performance Mods
Compatibility basics
The detector is designed to coexist with other mods, including concurrent chunk management mods. It will not crash when used together with them, though it may become unnecessary if another mod already enforces thread-safe world access.
Steps for a clean setup
1. Install the detector alongside your existing performance and worldgen mods; no special load order is required.
2. Launch the game and load a world. If a concurrent chunk mod is present, you may see fewer or no detector warnings because that mod serializes access.
3. If you still get warnings, treat them as real: another mod is bypassing the safe path.
4. When diagnosing, temporarily disable unrelated performance mods one at a time to shrink the suspect list, but keep the detector enabled throughout.
5. After identifying and fixing the cause, re-enable everything and confirm the warnings stop.
Avoiding false conclusions
Do not assume a warning means the detector is broken or conflicting. It reports what it observes. If a concurrent chunk mod is installed and warnings persist, the access is coming from somewhere that mod does not cover. Use the stack trace to find it rather than removing the detector, which would only hide the symptom.
