How to Tell Whether You Actually Need This Mod
When the detector helps
This mod is a diagnostic tool, not a fix. It is worth keeping installed when you are chasing a mysterious Accessing LegacyRandomSource from multiple threads crash and you do not yet know which mod is responsible.
Decide with these checks
1. Confirm the crash text. Search your logs for LegacyRandomSource and multiple threads. If that phrase is absent, this mod is not addressing your problem.
2. Check whether you already run a concurrent chunk management mod. If you do, that mod typically handles thread-safe world access itself, so the detector is redundant for you.
3. If you are not crashing and not seeing warnings, you can leave the detector installed harmlessly or remove it to reduce log noise.
4. If you are crashing, keep it installed until you have identified the offending mod, then decide whether to keep it as an early-warning tool.
After you find the cause
Once the stack trace names a suspect, the detector has done its job. Fix or remove the offending mod, then test again. You can keep the detector running to confirm the crash no longer occurs, or remove it once your setup is stable. It will not conflict with other mods, so keeping it is a matter of preference rather than necessity.
