Mining Raw Ores

Unrefined Heritage adds raw ore items and storage blocks for every ore in your world. When you mine an ore block without Silk Touch, you'll receive raw ore chunks instead of the ore block itself.

Raw ores work with Fortune enchantments—higher Fortune levels yield more raw material per ore mined. This matches modern Minecraft's raw ore system, letting you use the same mining strategy across modded and vanilla ores.

Raw materials are automatically tagged so they're recognized by processing machines from tech mods. If you prefer collecting full ore blocks, use Silk Touch as normal. The mod reads your ore dictionary, so it supports any modded ores already in your setup without extra configuration.
