Troubleshoot missing or duplicate origins

Origins Not Appearing

If an add-on origin you installed isn't showing on the selection screen:

1. Verify the add-on mod is in your mods folder and loaded (check the mod list)

2. Ensure the add-on is compatible with your version of Origins

3. Check that Unoriginal Mod is also loaded—without it, the screen behavior may differ

4. Restart Minecraft completely; sometimes mods need a full reload to register

Seeing Default Origins You Expected Removed

If you still see the standard Origins mod origins (beyond Human):

1. Confirm Unoriginal Mod is actually loaded in your mod list

2. Remove Unoriginal Mod, restart, then reinstall it

3. Check for mod conflicts—other mods modifying the origins screen may interfere

Performance or Loading Issues

If the origins screen loads slowly or behaves unexpectedly with many add-ons installed, try disabling a few add-on mods to narrow down the cause. Some add-ons may have compatibility issues with each other or with Unoriginal Mod.
