Distinguish Lit and Unlit Campfires in Your Inventory

Visual Difference

With this resource pack installed, campfire icons in your inventory and hotbar will display without flames. This makes it immediately clear which campfires are unlit, since the lit campfire icon retains its fire texture by default in vanilla Minecraft.

How to Use This for Organization

1. Separate your campfires visually — When collecting campfires, you'll now see a clear distinction between the plain campfire icon (unlit) and any lit variants that may appear.

2. Check your inventory — Open your inventory or crafting menu. Unlit campfires will show only the log base structure without any flame overlay.

3. Organize by purpose — Keep unlit campfires in dedicated storage or hotbar slots since they're now visually distinct and easier to spot at a glance.

Practical Application

This is especially useful when building campfire-based farms or decorative setups where you need to quickly identify which campfires haven't been lit yet. The minimalist appearance also reduces visual clutter when you have multiple campfires in your inventory, making it easier to count and manage your supply without distraction.
