How to Find and Retrieve Your Grave After Dying

When you die, the mod posts your grave's coordinates in chat. Read that message first — it is your fastest route back.

Locating the grave

Open your coordinates display (F3) or your minimap and travel to the posted X/Z. The grave renders as your player head, so it stands out against terrain. If you died in a cave, ravine, or underwater, dig or swim down to the exact Y level shown in the chat message rather than searching the surface.

Retrieving your items

Walk up to the grave and interact with it (right-click by default). All stored inventory contents and your experience are returned to you in one action. If your inventory is full, make space before interacting so nothing is left behind.

If you cannot reach it

• Note the timer: the grave is protected from other players for a short window after death, then becomes lootable, and eventually breaks and deletes everything. Move quickly.
• If the grave sits in lava or the void, check whether your server's config keeps graves safe in those situations; otherwise the items may already be gone.
• On servers, ask a teammate to escort you if the death site is dangerous — dying again on the way back costs you a second trip.
