Fixing Unique Dark Resource Pack Not Showing Up or Not Applying

Pack Missing From the List

If Unique Dark does not appear under Available, the folder structure is likely wrong. Open the pack's .zip and confirm that pack.mcmeta and the assets folder sit at the top level — not inside an extra nested folder. A common mistake is a zip containing a single folder that contains the real pack files; extract it and re-zip the contents, or move the inner folder into your resourcepacks directory directly.

Pack Listed but Textures Unchanged

When the pack is selected but screens still look vanilla, check the pack format. If Minecraft marks the pack as incompatible or outdated, it may load partially or not at all. Try moving Unique Dark to the top of the Selected list, since lower packs get overridden. Also confirm you are not running another GUI-focused pack (like a full UI overhaul) that replaces the same textures.

Partial Application

If only some interfaces turn dark — for example the inventory works but the anvil does not — the pack may simply not cover that screen, or a higher-priority pack is winning for that specific texture. Disable other packs one at a time to isolate the conflict, then reorder so Unique Dark sits above the conflicting pack.
