Combining Unique Dark With Other Resource Packs Without Conflicts
Understanding Load Order
Minecraft applies resource packs from top to bottom, and the topmost pack wins for any texture both packs define. Since Unique Dark only touches GUI elements (inventory, crafting table, furnace, chest, enchanting table, anvil, shulker box, recipe book, hotbar, buttons), it rarely conflicts with terrain, mob, or item packs — those cover different files.
Safe Combinations
You can safely stack Unique Dark above or below a block/item pack, a shader-supporting texture pack, or a font pack, because they edit separate texture paths. The main risk is another pack that also edits gui or container textures. If you use a full UI overhaul, pick one: either let Unique Dark handle the dark look, or let the other pack win, but do not expect a clean blend.
Ordering Tips
Place Unique Dark above general packs so its dark GUI always shows, and below any pack you specifically want to override a particular screen. After reordering, click Done and immediately open an inventory, chest, and crafting table to verify. If a screen reverts to vanilla or looks mismatched, the pack above it is the culprit — swap the two and re-test.
